Rinku A. Patel, PharmD, RPh

Dr. Patel is the CEO of OptioRx, focused on improving access, shortening speed to therapy, and providing high-touch comprehensive patient care through digital pharmacy & concierge pharmaceutical care services!

Dr. Rinku A. Patel is the CEO of OptioRx, focused on improving access, shortening speed to therapy, and providing high-touch comprehensive patient care through digital pharmacy & concierge pharmaceutical care services! She is a pharmacist dedicated to improving and simplifying the care experience of patients, a challenge she believes can be solved using innovative technology. Before joining OptioRx, Dr. Patel was the founder and CEO of KloudScript, a software-enabled services company acquired by a strategic software provider in the pharmacy industry. Dr. Patel served as the CEO of KloudScript India Private Limited, an offshore software development business to develop the global talent needed for developing the best-in-class health-tech platforms. Prior to dedicating her efforts at KloudScript, Dr. Patel was the Group Vice President of Business Development at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy and has held several management positions at OptionCare, Caremark, and Walgreens. She earned her doctorate and bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Midwestern University.  Dr. Patel is a passionate entrepreneur and enjoys mentoring founders of start-ups in the health-tech space.

Leo LaFranco, MBA

Mr. LaFranco is an accomplished financial leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Most recently he served as CFO of a privately held owner/operator of skilled nursing facilities.

Leo LaFranco is an accomplished financial leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Most recently he served as CFO of a privately held owner/operator of skilled nursing facilities. Prior to that he worked in a variety of healthcare industries including outpatient vascular services, interventional radiology, urgent care, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and durable medical equipment. He has led financial functions including controllership, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and process improvement. He has targeted entrepreneurial fast-growing ventures throughout his career and strongly believes that successful growth can be achieved both organically through de novo expansion as well as via acquisition predicated on strong integration programs for both financial and operational processes. He is a CPA and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in finance and strategic management from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
Andrew Charter, RPh

Andrew Charter, RPh

Mr. Charter grew up in Oregon, graduating from Oregon State University with a B.S. in pharmacy in 1988. He joined Payless Drug Stores becoming a district manger before joining BiMart as VP of pharmacy in 2000, and Haggen Food and Pharmacy in 2006.

Andrew grew up in Oregon, graduating from Oregon State University with a B.S. in pharmacy in 1988. He joined Payless Drug Stores becoming a district manger before joining BiMart as VP of pharmacy in 2000, and Haggen Food and Pharmacy in 2006. After moving to Midwest in 2010, Andrew worked for a startup in the 340b space as well as running retail sales for LDM, a patient engagement messaging service.

Before joining OptioRx, he was was the Senior Director of Pharmacy for Topco Associates, a member owned cooperative with more than 2000 member pharmacies. He oversaw purchasing of more than six billion dollars in annual spend. Programs included prime vendor agreement, direct generic programs and various services.

Ryan Alley

Ryan Alley is the Vice President of Business Development – Compounding at OptioRx. He has extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and sales force management.

Ryan Alley is the Vice President of Business Development – Compounding at OptioRx. He has extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and sales force management. Under his leadership, Ryan will be leading the compounding sales strategy that will drive growth for OptioRx, develop a marketing strategy to target new territories, manage OptioRx’s national compounding sales force and lead the inside sales function to identify leads for the field representatives. Prior to joining OptioRx, Ryan served as the Vice President of Physician Relations for Cancer Treatment Centers of America, City of Hope. Ryan was responsible for all areas of the physician outreach program to generate patient acquisition through physician referrals. During Ryan's time with CTCA, he built and scaled a national program that became the leading sales channel for the organization. Ryan joined CTCA in 2015 from BOK Financial and held leadership positions at several national retail and restaurant brands. Ryan is based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma where he enjoys life with his wife and 3 children.

Brett Pine

Mr. Pine is presently the EVP of sales and marketing at OptioRx. He previously was an owner and operator at Braun Pharmacare for over 22 years with extensive experience working in the specialty pharmacy arena.

Brett Pine is presently the EVP of sales and marketing at OptioRx. He previously was an owner and operator at Braun Pharmacare for over 22 years with extensive experience working in the specialty pharmacy arena. With focus in the fertility and veterinary markets, he has grown business on a national scale in both spaces. Brett graduated the University of Iowa with a BS in psychology and minor in English and Chemistry. His personal goals are to make a positive impact on as many people as possible through care, motivated work ethic, and attention to detail. Fun facts about Brett are his love of animals and that he started one of Chicago's first veterinary compounding focused pharmacies in 2000. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports with his two boys and loves family time.

Julie Stamm

Mrs. Stamm join us with over twenty years of IT experience in planning and delivering enterprise-based software solutions, strategic planning, new product/services launch and the structuring of long-term corporate goals and objectives.

Julie joins us with over twenty years of IT experience in planning and delivering enterprise-based software solutions, strategic planning, new product/services launch and the structuring of long-term corporate goals and objectives. Julie has spent the last ten years working in food distribution and most recently at Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors where she was responsible for the technical vision and development of all business products. She enjoys partnering closely with functional leaders to identify product and feature opportunities, exploring the feasibility and benefits of new capabilities, and translating these into tangible value. Julie leads our technology strategy and implementation in support of the OptioRx digital pharmacy initiatives.
