OptioRx is an extraordinary healthcare company built with great minds and leaders in the pharmacy industry, all of which are dedicated to improving a patient’s health and well-being!
Mr. David is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. He has extensive experience in all facets of 503A and 503B pharmaceutical compounding and is an industry expert in the anti-aging, health and wellness markets. Most recently Mr. David held the position of CEO at BodyLogicMD, one of the nation’s largest physician networks specializing in anti-aging and wellness. Mr. David held the position of President and CEO at the Wells Pharmacy Network. During his tenure, WPN went from a small, local provider of veterinary medications to one of the largest pharmaceutical compounders of Anti-Aging and Wellness medications in the United States.
During his career he has held various C-Level and executive positions ranging from the Division Vice President of the $450mm Southeast Division of Apria Healthcare, to executive level positions with Untied Healthcare and other large health care enterprises.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and an MBA with specializations in finance and healthcare administration from the University of Baltimore.
Mr. LaFranco is an accomplished financial leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Most recently he served as CFO of a privately held owner/operator of skilled nursing facilities. Prior to that he worked in a variety of healthcare industries including outpatient vascular services, interventional radiology, urgent care, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and durable medical equipment. He has led financial functions including controllership, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and process improvement. He has targeted entrepreneurial fast-growing ventures throughout his career and strongly believes that successful growth can be achieved both organically through de novo expansion as well as via acquisition predicated on strong integration programs for both financial and operational processes. He is a CPA and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in finance and strategic management from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
Bret Phillips brings over 15 years of experience within both 503A and 503B compounding pharmacy environments to his role as Chief Clinical Officer at OptioRx. During his career, Bret has collaborated with trusted medical practitioners in the Wellness space and played key roles driving operational excellence and strategic growth in both sterile and non-sterile segments of pharmacy.
Prior to joining OptioRx, Bret served as the Director of Strategic Accounts & Pricing at Belmar Pharma Solutions; there he led initiatives to optimize pricing strategies and cultivated long-lasting partnerships. Bret held the position as Director of Logistics with BodyLogicMD and supplied prescription fulfillment across the patient network. Bret also served as the Director of Product at Wells Pharmacy Network, where he managed formularies and production in compliance with FDA, USP, and BOP. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, where he studied at the Warrington College of Business.
Bret is passionate about delivering exceptional pharmacy services and innovative healthcare solutions with a keen ability to build strong teams and implement lean production systems.
Vincent Albano joins the OptioRx team with 15 years of experience in healthcare and biotechnology. Most recently, Vincent held the position of President at BodyLogicMD, one of the nation’s largest physician networks specializing in anti-aging and wellness. During his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise, driving transformative initiatives that helped to position the organization for sustained success in a highly competitive market. Vincent held the position of Director of Business Operations and Project Management at Physicians Laboratory, a CLIA accredited laboratory, specializing in at-home urinary hormone and metabolite testing. He created strategic partnerships with physician networks and implemented standard operating procedures. His strategic approach to technology automations and streamlined processes allowed the business to operate more efficiently which resulted in enhanced quality and reliability of laboratory services.
In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Vincent is a Project Management Professional, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and project management proficiency to his work. Whether overseeing complex research projects, driving operational efficiencies, or navigating regulatory requirements, his leadership has been instrumental in fostering high-performing teams and implementing cutting-edge technologies to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
With a diverse background spanning clinical practice, project management, and executive leadership, Vincent brings a unique perspective to OptioRx. His diverse expertise renders him a valuable addition to the team, providing insights and solutions that surpass typical constraints.
Arun Suresh Kumar has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, bringing OptioRx a wealth of expertise in enterprise architecture, software development, data analytics, automation, and team leadership.
In his professional journey, Arun has held leadership roles in well-known brands such as Cisco, FedEx, Dicks Sporting Goods, Sears, and Kmart. His rich experience spans the retail, fraud prevention, eCommerce, and VOIP communication domains. Arun’s leadership has been noteworthy, especially in his last role, where he led a 40-person team responsible for the eCommerce websites at Sears and Kmart. Before that, he led the team that managed the Dick’s Sporting Goods websites. This background uniquely positions him to steer our engineering initiatives toward new heights. At OptioRx, Arun will lead the software development strategy, IT and analytics departments, developing technology solutions, such as portals and web applications, for patients, prescribers, and our pharmacies!
Arun’s love for problem-solving isn’t confined to just his professional life. He is a gardening enthusiast, an avid traveler, an amateur Chef, and a dedicated gamer – all activities that require strategy, understanding, and an innovative approach, reflecting his thinking. On the home front, Arun shares his life with his civil engineer wife and their two lovely children, an 11-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son.
